I have lived in Chicago most of my existence, but have always enjoyed the itch to explore. The times I’ve traversed across Spain, delighted in London theater, enjoyed a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower, rode rollercoasters in California, climbed mountains in Colorado, hiked in Hocking Hills and savored fabulous food in the Midwest have been my best.
Writing started as a dream when I was a child. Winning a young author’s award in second grade was my first step toward making it real. I am now honored to be a national, award-winning writer. Combining my passions of traveling and stringing words together has been one of life’s greatest gifts. I am also blessed with two children who inspire me and one kind husband who has been my better half for half my life.Experiencing new things, connecting with others and sharing the beauty and excitement of the world is what keeps me going. Nothing satisfies me more than hearing my children tell stories of the times they’ve explored caves, slept in treehouses or cabooses and made amazing memories. Thank you for reading and I wish you all the best on your journey.
